Have you and your class read Such a Pretty Girl, Leftovers, How It Ends or Ordinary Beauty and want to discuss them, and learn more about the creative process and writing for young adults?
Laura Wiess is available to speak to both adults, and teens about writing. Her high school or library visit program includes three sessions per day of approximately one hour per session, with additional time for Q&A, signing books and meeting readers.
The three sessions may be any combination of large groups and smaller classes. The cost is $1000 per day plus hotel and airfare (if applicable) and it's recommended you contact Laura to discuss details and reserve the date at least six months in advance.
**Skype Visit
Laura Wiess will be happy to visit your classroom, book club, or summer reading event via SKYPE, a more economical way for an author to speak with readers. Audiences range from age 14 through adult, and the prerequisites for a successful visit include Skype, and having read my book(s). The visit will be a discussion on fiction writing and my books, with a hearty emphasis on audience participation and Q&A.
The fee is $75 for a half hour virtual visit, and $150 for an hour. Payment must be received in advance and may be made by using the Paypal button below or by check.
